Today we headed out to Inverness for a beach day. It was a blast! Started out with a trip to the coffee shop and then to the park to go down the bumpy slide and the tube slide and then out to Shell Beach just North of Inverness. It is a beautiful double crescent beach down a half mile trail & extremely secluded and calm. There were several large Stingrays in the water feeding which I later learned were actually bat rays or eagle rays and they use their fins to expose their pray which are muscles, clams and oysters! They looks like birds flying around underwater. Hard to describe but very cool to watch! Here are a few pics of our fun morning beach trip...
