Last weekend was the BUtter and Eggs Day parade which we try to go to every year. It's one of those small town USA events that we love about where we live. There is always some random person or group in the parade that make us laugh. It's so fun to see the spirit people bring to our special little town. Surprisingly Kai loves it too. It's a long parade around 2 hours and he has sat and watched the entire thing for the past two years (hopefully I didn't just jinx us for next year). I think it's all the things with wheels that makes his heart flutter, plus the random bits of candy and stickers handed out help too :)
Here's some fun shots from this years festivities.
You know it's going to be a good parade when it starts with a retro police car!
