Another day another video! This one is from April of Kai getting a haircut. Both Kai & I are lucky to have the best barber in the world cut out hair! :) Yes the iphone was necessary to keep the head in place for some stylin! You can tell he looooved it! haha

Soccer Bowling!! & T Ball!!

Well I had another video on deck for tonight, but Jenna sent me some videos from Idaho that are awesome! First a little back story. Kai loves Curious George and while he doesn't watch a lot of TV he does watch a show or two after his nap, and in one of the Curious George episodes George goes bowling. So last week Kai and I went to our local bowling alley to check it out and today up in Idaho he got a special bowling set!! This is not normal bowling though... this is Kai's version, I call it Soccer Bowling! Enjoy the video montage from today up at great grandma's house!

Shell Beach Inverness

Today we headed out to Inverness for a beach day. It was a blast! Started out with a trip to the coffee shop and then to the park to go down the bumpy slide and the tube slide and then out to Shell Beach just North of Inverness. It is a beautiful double crescent beach down a half mile trail & extremely secluded and calm. There were several large Stingrays in the water feeding which I later learned were actually bat rays or eagle rays and they use their fins to expose their pray which are muscles, clams and oysters! They looks like birds flying around underwater. Hard to describe but very cool to watch! Here are a few pics of our fun morning beach trip...

Future Film Maker/Photographer?

Kai and I were sitting at the computer this weekend and he got interested in the camera. So I grabbed it and said "let's take a picture of us together!"

Of course he immediately wanted to do it himself so I showed him how it works

We were using our digital SLR which is kind if clunky so I grabbed our smaller point and shoot and let him go for it.

Here is also a little video that came of the exploration - I love this. You can hear him clicking it trying to take a picture. He tries for such a long time without giving up! I thought that was awesome.
