Bike riding and the worm hero

The other day we went over to a nearby school for some bike riding and as we were playing we noticed there were hundreds of worms that had come out of the grass and were trying to dig down into the rubber track. We decided to rescue as many of them as we could. Kai was amazing picking up worm after worm and tossing them back into the grass. We eventually had to leave some behind but felt good about the ones we were able to help.

8th kidneyversary!

Crazy it's been 8 years (on feb 10th) since Rebecca gave Mark one of the best gifts ever...her kidney! As is our tradition we will be getting together for a celebratory dinner. This year Kai and I made a card for Rebecca. Kai wrote "thanks for giving my daddy a new kidney. Sincerely, Kai" we are so grateful. Ito say our lives would be different without Rebecca's generosity is an understatement.
