Cruz is 9 months old!

Hard to believe the little man is 9 months old already! The time has whizzed right by. Cruz is just a little gem of a person. He smiles ALOT and brings so much joy not only to us, but to everyone he meets. He is officially cruisin' and can crawl at astounding speeds. Turn your head and he will be on the other side of the room! He pulls himself up to standing all the time on anything he can grab including our pant legs. He is super curious and loves checking things out. He has a little noise he makes when he is doing something sneaky, we call it his tell. If you hear the sneaky noise look out! He could be eating dirt, tipping over the dog water bowl or making a b-line for Kai's room. He is definitely transitioning from a baby to a toddler. He has 8 teeth and is currently working on more. It seems like he has been teething non-stop since he was 4 months old! Drool could be his middle name at this point and he pretty much always has a huge wet spot on the front of his shirt. He is eating finger foods - he loves bananas, and little rice puffs. And definitely gets cranky if he doesn't get his bottle right when he wants it! Ha ha! We are so thankful to have him as part of our crew. It's been an adjustment having two kids, but we wouldn't change it for the world. Seeing the boys together and the sweet bond they have is such a wonderful gift. Kai is definitely Cruz's hero and Kai couldn't love his brother any more. We love you Cruz!

Stand up!

Cruz is pulling himself up to stand and he's very happy about it. He greets us in his crib standing up so proud of himself. He loves his toys that he can pull up on and yesterday he snuck under the kitchen table and stood up holding on to Kai's chair. He was SO pleased. He will be walking in no time. He's such a cutie!

We had fun afternoon at Grandma & Grandpa's today & at the last minute I thought about taking the same pic that I took of Kai right around 8.5-9 months. Both boys are about the same age in these :)
