Kite Festival with the BP's!!

We had an awesome day today at the Kite Festival in Berkeley, where we met up with Kai's birth parents and his birth mom's BFF. It was so much fun seeing them and seeing them with Kai. Kai is such an adorable little combo of the two of them, it's really cool. One of the things I love is how different they look from each other yet how much you can see both of them in Kai. Ladies be warned, this little man is going to be a heartbreaker! 

We had such a fun day and are already looking forward to the next time we see each other.

We were so happy to have the chance to spend some time with Kai's birthparents and meet his birthmother's BFF. They are such wonderful, kind, smart and just plain awesome peeps. We feel so blessed to have them in our lives - and especially for Kai to have them in his life. I get emotional everytime we have a get together just from the overwhelming amount of gratitude I feel. Kai is such a gift in our lives, and seeing them just reminds me of how very lucky we are to have found each other.
