Kai isn't feeling too hot so we went to visit Dr. H today. Seems as though an ear infection may be brewing, poor little buddy. He has officially started to have what Dr. H. calls stranger anxiety and he gets a little pissed about going to the Dr. who can blame him, they always poke him with something or stick something in his ears. It's no walk in the park, even if Dr. H. is super awesome. After being very brave and having his oxygen level taken, his temperature taken, his ears looked at, his throat looked at AND his breathing listened to, Kai got a sticker! And not only that Dr. H. put it on a stick for him - pretty awesome!
Here he is showing me his sticker and telling me about the doctor visit:
"Yea, so he gave me this sticker, but first he looked in my ears!"
"That thing with the light kind of freaked me out!"
"Oh and he looked in my mouth with one of these sticks!"
"Kind of like this"
Later we decided to entertain ourselves on a rainy day by playing with my pink sunglasses, which I proceeded to break when trying to put them on Marley, but it was fun while it lasted! Kai can totally rock the pink shades! Way to go little man! Way to go!
