He also got a camping chair (my personal favorite) we are excited to try this out this summer on an actual camping trip! It even has a drink holder - or should I say bottle holder?!
We spent lots of time just hanging out, looking at the christmas lights and cuddling.
After opening gifts, Mark made a yummy breakfast of chocolate croissants, and a tasty scramble with sausage, potatoes and mushrooms, while prepping for breakfast, Mark stepped out of the kitchen for a minute to come see something cute Kai was doing, when he returned, the two sausages that were cut up on the island in the kitchen waiting to be added to our scramble had disappeared! Someone was looking a little guilty... needless to say, it was a good Christmas for Marley :)
Later, Grandpa (Jenna's dad) and Gee (Jenna's bonus mom) came over and shared some delicious food and fun times.
When Gee and Grandpa had to leave, this was Kai's response:
Kai's outfit today was my personal favorite. It doesn't get more true than this, he truly is the best gift we will ever receive.
Thanks to the new little man in our lives, it was our best Christmas yet.
