Had to grab the camera quick to catch Kai and Cruz sitting together this morning (Cruz caught in the act sneaking off with Jenna's phone haha) :)

Big boys

Kai is leader of the day at school today. He gets to sit in a special chair at the front of the class and brought something in the mystery box with clues for people to guess. His clues are: 1. It's red 2. It can also be green, orange or yellow 3. It grows in the garden 4. Sometimes it's spicy 5. It is green before its ripe. Can you guess what it is? It will be fun to see if his class mates were able to guess...it's a pepper! He also got to bring snack for everyone - he chose peanut butter crackers, cheese puffs and apple sauce. In other news, the little big guy is 17 months old today!! He is a crack up. Is interested in everything and often gets frustrated that he can't communicate what he wants. There is a lot of whining happening around here lately. He understands so much now, the other day Mark fed the dogs and when they were done he asked Cruz to pick up the bowls and put them back on the shelf where they go. He followed the directions to a t! Such a smartie! He loves when his brother chases him after bath time and runs to the bath after he finishes dinner. He loves doggies and calls almost every animal he sees a "gawgie". He loves his shoes and being outside. We are so grateful for both of our awesome boys.

Last night Kai had a burst of inspiration to take any extra boxes we had around the house and make a spaceship. This is what was created, and turns out to be the perfect spot to watch a show I guess?! :)

We have had a lot of tomatoes, but not one has made it in the house, Cruz & Kai eat them all off the plant as soon as they are ripe. Every one so far!

Today we went to Train Town in Sonoma with Grandma & Grandpa!  So much fun!!
